December 2011

Rosina sewed ski hats for all the kids. Viennas was tight (and she hates having things on her face) but she loved it and was giggling and giggling!
So good to see Edwin and Andrea! This was our christmas with the Millers. Arletta had us this year and she got all the kids shirts and socks. We feel so blessed for the generosity and thoughtfulness of all our friends and family.
I put this in just because I thought I would like to see what my hair looked like. It is supposed to be an A line cut but can you tell?
The girls are showing off their new shirts

Grandma Wilding gave Rick a Book of Mormon computer game for Christmas and all the kids gathered around to watch.
Mom made the blocks that say Miller, William and Val gave me shirts and a skirt, Mom and Dad gave us a soft mat for the kitchen, Grandma Rowley gave us the quilt (Yeah!).

Hyrum got a slap bracelet from GM and GP. We gave him the mater truck that you shake and then it goes. The gun and the bouncing ball are probably his favorite.
Lots of coloring and painting for Eliza (and Aaramie).

Rick got the Great Dalmuti cards and we have had so much fun playing it! He also got a tool bag and plans to build a chicken coop with William this summer.

This face makes it all worth it!
Mom and Dad got I Pads. Wow!

I love our Santa bag! It is so fun handing out 1 gift at a time and building up the anticipation.
Santa hides our stockings and it is so much fun trying to find our stockings in the morning. JD's was hidden really well. Good Job JD.
Searching for stockings!
The face that we as parents love so much that we have to imitate it.
Clip on earings! OOOHHH! She wears them and looks so cute but I wonder how long before they are lost.
A watch!

Wake up grandpa to go find the stockings!
Wait in the hall until everyone wakes up.
Christmas eve was the best day ever! We did the nativity with the kids dressed up, Nikki read the story of the 3 trees, and Dad kept the tradition of reading the "Night before christmas".

We had a blast eating and playing games at Chris and Nikki's and sucking milk through a cookie (yum)!
This was before the spaghetti.

Christmas eve at Golden Corral. It is nice having older children who can get food for themselves.
We went to Jump and Jive that had a bunch of blow up toys for the kids to jump on and climb in. We had the place to ourselves. The kids had so much fun but were very tired after.
What a difference between Rooks and Hyrum. Rooks didn't say a word but Hyrum was yelling and cheering for himself like "OH yeah, wahoo".

Rooks and Reese. So good to see them. Reese definitely is outgoing and has a strong personality.

Can you believe and 18 month old girl could care so much about necklaces and dressup and anything princess and pretty.
Playing the Wii at Grandmas.
Playing with Grandpa on the floor.
Here are the kids in the kid room at the radiology place. We all went to see if Valeri was going to have a girl or a boy.
And . . . She is having a girl!!!!!!!!!
All the cousins got together and I was able to see cousins I haven't seen for 12 years!

This is the rompus room at Renee's. All the kids played while the adults talked.

Grandma Rowley and all my aunts and uncles.
My mom, grandma, and aunts.
My uncles
Santa came to Valeri's house to see the kids. The kids just talked and talked and couldn't get enough! He brought the kids books and games and brought the adults toilet paper:)

Vienna went right up to him and held her arms out to be held. She sat on his lap for a long time. The kids kept bringing toys and puzzles for santa to see.

This is our old fireplace. We took it out and had a guy come insert one of those nice gas fireplaces, just like we had in the old house. Our other heat isn't working and we needed something to keep the house warm while we were in Utah. What you see is a drill with a 3-4 foot bit!
