You really need to scroll down and look at the house project in order. This is the final wall out between the dining and the kitchen. It is so great to have the room! It is so great to have it open and be able to walk between the two rooms! Like all projects, it cost more than we expected and took more work than expected. Big thanks to online tutorials.

We had to use the skil saw to cut the nails and then bring the 2x4's down but what we were unleashing was a whole bunch of blown in insulation. It was falling in our hair and in our eyes an d with the wind created by the skil saw it was blown everywhere. I didn't know how were were going to go on after the first attempt. But inspiration came and I found a bag used for quilts that had plastic on one side and William wore it over his head when he was sawing to keep the insulation out of his eyes.

Ross came over to help William with the electrical, watch the kids so we could go get supplies and tools and he took down the wall while we were out. You can see the 2 support walls on each side of the original wall to keep the ceiling up until we got a beam in.

Eliza's new doo! We finally found a buyer for her hair. She sold it to a doll maker for $100. I put it in 4 pony tails and cut them off. This was how it looked just after cutting. Amazingly it looks OK. Maybe Val will have some time to help me spiff it up.
