- After dinner Ricky and Aaramie secretly stow away to their bedroom and get their PJ's on and come back up and together they yell "Surprise!". They beam with pride and may even do a little dance. Even thought this happens everynight they still think that it is a surprise to us that they get their PJ's on without us asking. So of course we act surprised and praise them for being such good kids.
- Eliza is our drama child. Some days she cries and cries that she doesn't want to do her dishes. The other day Ricky put her dishes away for her and she was so upset she just cried and cried "Ricky did my dishes, ohhhhhh."
- Ricky cannot seem to come home with everything that he goes to school with. It seem there is always something left there: coat, bookbag, lunch box, gloves, sweater . . .
- Eliza is so intense. She wants so bad to make Hyrum laugh and to play with him, but her efforts would frighten a grown child, so it is no wonder that Hyrum starts crying as soon as he sees her come near him.
- My kids love to give hugs and kisses after family prayer. They also cannot seem to go to sleep until William or I sing to them.
- My kids thank me sooo much for feeding them healthy food, and they thank me sooo much when I give them a cookie or a candy. The other day Aaramie said "Thank you mom for giving us healthy and unhealthy things!"
- The other day we were watching the "Finding Faith in Jesus Christ" DVD and durring the part that depicted the last week of our Savior's life Ricky had question after question, trying to understand why He was treated so badly. Durring the Garden of Gethsemane part he began crying and cried until the resurection. He said a few times to me "Mom, I just love Jesus." It was an awesome experience to see the spirit touch his heart.
Just a couple things that my kids do that I don't want to forget( I will probably keep adding to this list):
